According to Oliver O’Brien, Head of Strategy and Business Development at Mukuru, the integration of Mukuru and WhatsApp Business API allows customers to create money transfer orders and allow them to manage their account details. There has been WhatsApp  end to end encryption which allows security when transacting hence WhatsApp cannot see the contents of the messages sent to Mukuru. According to O’Brien, the introduction of WhatsApp is a new innovation and will not replace their existing ways of sending money.The new introduced technology will provide a more convenient, safe and reliable way for customers to transact.S
