Ordinary level candidates are struggling to view their results through a recently introduced online portal by ZIMSEC because of the number of students scrambling to view the sight.
The online option is through the Zimsec website https://dcmv1.zimsec.co.zw/ however only a few manage to access their results online.
The system is not secure, the children themselves accessed each other’s results simply because they knew the candidate number of their peers. They would create accounts and log on without the owner of the account aware of the ghost account thus creating a problem when the real candidate wanted to access their results and they will be informed that the account has been halted.
ZIMSEC website has gone down after failing to handle intense traffic generated through endless online queries by Ordinary Level students who are trying to access their November 2018 results released yesterday. The online publishing of ZIMSEC results is the first of its kind as the motherboard is trying to digitize its systems and improve easy access of results for students before visiting their examination centers to collect physical copies.
