In an interview, Guava Country Representative Officer Mr Tafadzwa Musevenzo said he started distributing Guava feature phones since November 2018 and they have sold quiet a number of phones and got a positive response from buyers.
“I started distributing the brand Guava since 2018 Nov and we have sold + – 10000 pcs so far that’s an average of 1000 per month Yes we have managed to get positive feedback from our customer bases eg good and reliable product since it’s OME also due to fact that we offer warranty people have come in droves for this brand also due to unreliable ZESA supply of late most people have been buying Guava to complement their smart phones due to its reliable battery.”
The battery last up to three days!
When asked about how the trending corona virus has affected the business so far, Mr Sevenzo had this to say:
“Yes the model is manufactured in China but our sub division is Dubai since we fall under UAE & Africa markets, hence we get our stock from Dubai but like any other business our channel and processes will definitley be affected sooner or later.”
