Econet has today increased SMS and data bundles charges, a move that will strain the already suffering Econet customers more.

Below are Econet’s new SMS and data bundles charges:

Daily SMS Bundles

1. 5 SMS – RTGS $0.36
2. 10 SMS – RTGS $0.72
3. 25 SMS – RTGS $1.80
4. 35 SMS – RTGS $2.52

Weekly SMS Bundles

1. 75 SMS – RTGS $3.60
2. 125  SMS -RTGS $6.00
3. 200 SMS -RTGS $9.60
4. 300 SMS – RTGS $14.40

1. WhatsApp Daily (20MB)  – $4.0
2. WhatsApp Daily (45MB) – $8.0

1. WhatsApp Weekly (65MB) – $10.0
2. WhatsApp Weekly (140MB) – $23.0

1. WhatsApp Monthly (240MB) –  $41.0

2. WhatsApp Monthly (400) – $64.0

Meanwhile, according to eNCA News, Vodacom, South Africa and other Countries’ network service provider yesterday announced a data decrease by 30% across all offerings.
